Kristen England grew up in North Carolina and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Wake Forest University. She then began her career within the music and art industries throughout Southern California. She went on to found Galeria Pura Vida in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where she features her works as well as those of local artists. Today, she splits her time between the Black Hills of South Dakota and Costa Rica painting from the inspiration she gathers in the forest and in the jungle. Her ideas come to life on the canvas through the interplay of many layers of paint and emotion.
