Kristen England grew up in North Carolina and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wake Forest University. She began her career in the music and art industries of Southern California before moving to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where she founded Galería Pura Vida, showcasing both her own work and that of local artists.

After four years of creating between the ocean and jungle, Kristen returned to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Now nestled in the mountains, she draws inspiration from wildlife and the everyday scenes that surround her. Her ideas take shape on canvas through layers of paint, color, and emotion.
